CPM and RPM

Put in what you earned and how many views it took, and this gives you your real RPM. Add what advertisers were charged and it shows the platform's cut, which is the number nobody advertises.

Worth knowing

CPM is what an advertiser pays per thousand impressions. RPM is what you receive per thousand views. The difference is the platform's share plus the views that never showed an ad at all.

Why this is a range and not a number

Every figure here depends on assumptions, and the honest thing is to show them rather than hide them behind one confident answer. Change any input and the result moves; put in your own numbers and it stops being an estimate at all. Nothing on this page is financial advice.
