Credits, plans and billing, answered.
What is a credit?
One minute of video that Cutdown transcribes and clips. A 40-minute podcast uses 40 credits, however many clips come out of it. Use the processing timeframe to clip only part of a video and spend fewer credits.
What do I get for free?
One video of up to 12 minutes, clipped with everything Cutdown has. After that, pick a plan to keep clipping. Editing a video yourself in the editor stays free.
What doesn't use credits?
Editing, captions, layouts, exporting and the free tools. They run in your browser, so they cost us nothing and we don't meter them.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing month. On yearly plans the whole year's credits are available up front.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and your clips stay in your account.
Can I use the clips commercially?
Yes — they are your videos. Make sure you have the rights to anything you upload.
