Fix a video where some parts are too quiet and others too loud.
Because this runs in your browser, the limit is your own memory rather than an upload cap. Files up to a few hundred megabytes are comfortable on a normal laptop; a multi-gigabyte recording is better trimmed first.
How this one works
Measures the whole file and then sets one consistent level, the way broadcast and streaming platforms do. This is the one to use when two people in a recording are at completely different volumes, or when a clip is much quieter than everything else on a feed.
Where the file goes
Nowhere. The video is read by the page and processed by a copy of ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, running inside this tab on your own machine. There is no server in the path, which is also why there is no size limit and no queue — and why a very long file depends on how much memory your computer has rather than on how busy we are.
What it costs
Nothing, and there is no catch to find later: no watermark, no sign-in before the download, no cap on how many times you can use it. It costs us nothing per use, because your computer did the work.
